Please be aware that the 2024 Electrical Safety Awareness survey is currently underway.
Ottawa River Power customers may be contacted by a company called Advanis and asked to participate in an Electrical Safety Awareness Survey. This independent survey will be conducted by the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA).
The survey will launch on January 8, 2024, and will continue until March 8, 2024.
This phone survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and will gauge customer knowledge on safety topics related to powerlines, pad mount transformers, and other electrical hazards. Please note, we will not be asking for specific identifying details, such as phone numbers, home address, or credit card and banking information.
The survey is mandated by the Ontario Energy Board to be completed every other year. The results of the survey will be included in future versions of our Utility Scorecard.
If you have any questions about the survey, please call our office at 613-732-3687.
